PAINTINGS OF TREES made in the forest. Some of these paintings took several days or up to two weeks to make. These long sustained interactions with the trees and birds and other critters including humans, looking and responding over time - it feels like a conversation. When I was a child living in the woods near Squamish, BC I used to talk to trees and the lake, maybe painting is a way for the trees to talk back.
